The Ballad of Monica Lewinsky Oh, have you heard the story of Monica Lewinsky? She and President Bill have tied the knot, They played the fiddle and got caught in the middle, Now they're simmering in a pot; it's bubbling over And whether you like the stew or not, It's being served all over, all over. There's come a great crunch. We're cooking them and eating them for lunch. Not too much salt, too many tomatoes, They should have eloped to Barbados, A pinch of sugar would do the trick, And perhaps a tablespoon of honey--- Our tastes vary, we can be quite contrary, But when cooking them we should be wary That overcooking lends the stew runny. (This little verse first ran at Dream Forge, a Colorado zine, edited by Rick Arnold. The verse created some interest--http://www.pcisys.net/~drmforge/) Ernest Slyman HomePage www.geocities.com/soho/7514
