A friend who works at a major NY Gallery once took
me into a special room they have for all the slides
they get. The gallery can't deal with them but
can't throw them out either so they let them stack
up.

We get URLs sent to us every day at artnetweb. I
check them all out but it's very rare that there's
something we're interested in, mainly because we're
not a gallery. The best thing to do is try to form
a personal contact at a gallery you like. Sending
slides out unsolicited is a waste of money. Sending
URLs out unsolicited can be irritating.
