: Okay, what's Slate's email for submissions. Or could it be that Slate excludes people, probably won't allow anyone to email them?: Slate doesn't belong in the zine list, if there's not an email address to submit to... I believe neither The Cortland Review nor Jacket, accept unsolicited works. However I don't see this as keeping them from being called a zine. Of course with my poet's hat on I'd prefer to see Internet journals take unsolicited work. There are enough in the print medium that do not. On the point mentioned that many ezines are too inclusive, I can say for Conspire at least, that we are more often publishing new voices and voices that represent cultural diversity. In the Nov. issue we will have poets from Australia & Malaysia as well as poets from all over the U.S. While you will find some poets at Conspire that you regularly see in many popular zines, we select poems based on their quality of content, not by the author's resume. The same for the selection of poems at Recursive Angel, of which I am an associate. best, -CK Tower Editor- Conspire Poetry Editor- Recursive Angel www.RecursiveAngel.com
