very interesting period... most unlike today... Mishima saw an unbearable psycho-social transformation coming, he called it 'the curse of the green snake'. Others survived, adapted, whatever it took... who would've expected that we'd be living through Son Of The Eisenhower Years, but without the focusing gravitational lenses of that period ?
