Wouldn't want to be the one to start up a poetry zine? There are so many. More poetry zines than there ants in Central Park. The whole idea of putting a email address and having thousands of young poets zap you, sending along inchoate verses would put a scare in anybody?

Isn't Slate a corporate zine? Your list is somewhat arbritrary, pale like most lists--the zines have not been going all that long. Blue Moon is an interesting zine. But not all that much of a revelation.

And of course our tastes are centered around american tastes. Our prejudice toward our own circles.

Suggest you take a look at a zine recently mentioned at Reverie. URU...I thought it a knockout. A delightful surprise. And quite the source of innovation and good poetry...
